I met Ashley at our postnatal group 3 years ago when we all had such a lovely summer with our babies.When we went back to work it was so cool to meet Ashley on the train to work and back home again chatting rubbish on the train.When she first told us she had cancer we were all so shocked but uplifted by her as she was so positive, hopeful and so strong. She has been so brave for the past 2years and very seldom complained even though she put up with so much. Nothing was ever too much for Ashley- even though she was having treatment in Sutton she still found the time and energy to walk to my house and visit. One of the last things she said to me was how supportive and great Brian has been to her. She lived for Brian and Lyden. I will miss you so much Ashley, you have been such a great friend and inspiration to me. Love susheela x

Ashley was an inspiration to us all, she never gave up hope, she was a fighter, a real star. She was caring, compassionate and courageous. Ashley was a fun loving girl and I feel honoured to have known her and shared so many laughs. She will be sadly missed, words cannot express how much, but she will be forever in our hearts. Ashley was a true superstar in every sense. She always had a smile on her face through good times and bad. She bore her ilness with a candour that was truly humbling. We met at a postnatal group and she will be sadly missed among our group. She organised many of our nights out and her excitability was infectious. Who will drag us onto the dance floor now Ash?!
